SYNOPSIS OF THE DAY BEHEMOTH & LEVIATHAN DIED

"Behemoth" is the biblical name for the brontosaurus and "Leviathan," likewise, for the Tyrannosaurus Rex or similar animal. These mighty animals and their entire ecosystem were destroyed in an instant by a catastrophic planetary impact. This was the first of two, known catastrophes that have devestated the entire earth.

The second catastrophe, that we have evidence for, is the much later worldwide deluge called by many the “Flood of Noah.” These catastrophic events are definitely not connected in time and, furthermore, dinosaurs never walked on the earth alongside men. This book is about these events.

The Day Behemoth and Leviathan Died by David Allen Deal, provides a new view of both new and older evidence of the earth's geologic history. The evidence demands a massive and destructive planetary impact of the earth with another planet, sometime prior to man's creation. This collision occurred precisely at the K/T boundary layer which defines the “Late Cretaceous” geologic period. This great catastrophic impact destroyed fully two-thirds of the earth's granite, crust which had constituted an earth-encircling, uniform 30-mile thick rock formation. This was no 6.2-mile meteor as is presently believed by establishment, uniformitarian geologists. The scientific, professionally-gathered evidence presented in this new book leads to the inescapable conclusion that an asteroid/planetoid collided with the earth and ravished it, destroying all dinosaur life and driving the earth out of its ancient orbit . The old earth orbit had been in the region of the solar system beyond Mars, where -- prior to the collision-induced excavation of the deep ocean-basins -- the earth's water was locked up in two gigantic ice caps leaving about one-third of the earth's surface free of ice and in an equatorial warm zone. This is what the so-called great ice age was in reality. In the earth-girdling warm-zone that dinosaurs walked on low-lying island continents and where temperate, shallow oceans swarmed with giant armored fishes. The resulting debris of this massive collision/impact presently orbits the sun and is called the “asteroid belt.” The evidence reviewed in this book includes data from the Deep Sea Drilling Project at Scripps Institute of Oceanography, La Jolla California.

The bones of the last dinosaurs are covered by the sedimentary, K/T boundary rock-layer wherever encountered on the continents. Late Cretaceous, in truth, represents the end of the dinosaur age. No dinosaur bone or tooth has ever been uncovered above this layer of rock. It can also be now proven, via the Deep Sea Drilling Project's ocean floor, core drilling evidence, that the catastrophic demise of the entire dinosaur world also represents the same time-period that the Pacific Basin was formed and the Atlantic Basin on the opposite side was ripped apart, This occurred suddenly; catastrophically forming fromthe pieces that were left of the original granitic crustal rocks, the continents, which were then rifted-open to expose massive oceans of molten magma. Therefore, that moment in time must be viewed as wholly catastrophic, in the most violent sense of the word and dramatically non-uniformitarian in scope which contradicts the very core basis for geological studies.

To the right is a rendering of the condition of the earth after the massive planetoid impact and catastrophic removal of 2/3 of the earth's granite surface rocks. The molten Pacific basin is missing all of its previous granitic crustal rocks. This condition allowed for the rapid movement of the remaining continents away from an imbalanced state of close-proximity. Note the diamond producing zones of South America and Africa are aligned on the antipode (opposite side) of impact. These hard-carbon crystals formed from the extreme pressures and heat generated by the impact and plasma shock-wave that preceeded the impacting body, a 1,600 mile diameter body as it failed to exit the earth. It remains our inner-core.

The impacting body is now our inner-core. It is, at this time,1600 miles in diameter (2/3 the size of the earth's moon). The fact is, that the inner-core remains a solid object residing at the center of our presumably natural molten-iron “outer-core.” This solid object is an anomaly in either the cold-accretion or hot origin theories of the earth formation. It should not be there in either of these theories, yet there it is. As this planet-sized object impacted the old earth at what is now the Pacific Basin (near Hawaii). It blew off two-thirds of the earth's outer granite crustal rock structure, leaving the molten, mantle material exposed to space, followed by rapid cooling (argon was released from the molten basalt giving earth its anomalous amount of free atmospheric argon). Of course the earth's hydrosphere and its atmosphere were blown away as well, creating a huge gas ball encircling the earth as it dove toward the sun in a cometary elliptical path for 167 orbits only then to be arrested by the second planet Luna, which became earth's moon. The remaining granite broke into continents and began to spread rapidly at first, ever slowing as the oceanic crusts hardened.

All of this leads us to the force which exerts itself laterally on the earth's surface in what is commonly called “plate tectonics” or “continental drift.” Robert Deitz the Princeton geologist who coined this term “continental drift,” has stated in an Oceans magazine article quoted in the book, that, “The earth is like an egg with two-thirds of its shell removed, exposing the albumin...the egg-shell being analogous to the earth's granite crust, and the albumin its molten mantle.” Deitz' pragmatic analysis should give one pause to reflect on what other force could have removed 2/3 of the earth's granite crustal rocks and have left a pristine unequivocal record of dead dinosaurs.

Ask yourself. Was a pitifully small 6.2 mile diameter meteor (admittedly large enough to kill the dinosaurs) large enough to remove 2/3 of the planet's 30-mile-thick crustal rock layer, and deposit it in an orbit beyond that of Mars?

THE FLOOD OF NOAH

Is there actually any durable scientific evidence that the flood of Noah actually happened? Can it be proven?

The latter portion of the book deals with new evidence of the second catastrophe, the so-called Flood of Noah, which occurred after men and mammals had lived on the planet.

Recent archaeology in eastern Turkey, after a discovery by this author, has led to the formation of an international research program SEPDAC, based at Attatürk University, Erzurum, Turkey. It is the ancient, lost-city of Noah "Mesha/Naxuan." This recently discovered ruined-city is 2 kilometers from the remains of the Ark of Noah near üzengili, Agri province Turkey. It is situated on the mountain called "Judi," where ancient writers place the Ark, nearby but not on Mount Ararat. The Ark remains lay at 6,200 feet above sea-level, and the city is another 1200 feet higher on the mountain at 7,400 feet. This evidence is compelling and important to overall authenticity of the Flood of Noah.

This book presents a very dramatic view of the earth's past, with two major catastrophes, however none is of it is speculation, all of its posits are based on hard, factual and professionally-gathered, scientific evidence.
